Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country made up of Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo. Famous for the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, it brings together Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures, cool hill stations, UNESCO heritage towns and tropical islands.

Malaysia is one of the easiest first trips abroad from Nepal. It's a short direct flight away, English is spoken almost everywhere, and one week can cover a big city, cool hills and the sea.
Most holidays start in Kuala Lumpur, with day trips to the Batu Caves, Genting Highlands and the old port city of Malacca. With a few more days, add Langkawi's beaches, Penang's street food or the tea gardens of the Cameron Highlands.
Passion Tour And Holiday Service can help travellers from Nepal plan hotels, private transfers, sightseeing and visa paperwork to suit their dates, interests and budget. Malaysia also pairs well with Singapore.

From city skylines and cave temples to tea hills, heritage towns and island beaches.
Build your Malaysia tour around the experiences you enjoy, from city lights to quiet island days.
Walk through KLCC Park as the 452 m towers light up, then head to Bukit Bintang for dinner.
Take the 272 colourful steps past the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan to the temple inside the cave.
Glide up to Genting Highlands on the Awana SkyWay, or ride Langkawi's SkyCab to the curved Sky Bridge.
Explore Malacca's red Dutch Square and Jonker Street, or hunt for street art in Penang's George Town.
Try nasi lemak, roti canai, satay and char kway teow, then cool down with cendol and a glass of teh tarik.
Spend a day on the boats around Langkawi, then watch the sunset from the beach at Pantai Cenang.
Prepare the essentials before departure and check current official requirements close to your travel date.
Nepali passport holders need a visa for Malaysia, which can be applied for online as an eVISA. You'll usually need a passport valid for 6 months, a recent photo, a bank statement, and return flight and hotel bookings. Visitors also fill in the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card before landing. We prepare the application with you.
Malaysia is warm all year, around 25 to 33°C, with short afternoon showers. Kuala Lumpur and Malacca are usually drier from December to February and June to August, and Langkawi and Penang are best from about November to April.
Malaysia uses the ringgit (MYR). Cards work in hotels, malls and most restaurants, but keep cash for food stalls and markets. Money changers in shopping areas usually give better rates than the airport.
In Kuala Lumpur, the LRT and MRT trains are cheap and connect most sights, and Grab works well for cars. For day trips, a private car and driver is the most comfortable option. Langkawi and Penang are about an hour's flight from KL.
Light, casual clothes are fine in cities and at the beach. At mosques and temples, cover your shoulders and knees and remove your shoes. Use your right hand to give or receive things. Plugs are UK-style Type G, so bring an adaptor.
Indian and vegetarian food is easy to find, especially in Brickfields, KL's Little India. Malay restaurants are halal, so they serve no pork. Rendang and satay are often made with beef, so ask for chicken if you avoid it.
Tell us your preferred dates, budget and travel style. We can plan a Malaysia holiday on its own or combined with Singapore, with hotels, transport and experiences tailored to you.
